I learned the art and technique of “white ice” from my friend and mentor, Tim Linhart. We created the two ice rams in the mountains of Taos , New Mexico in 1997.

With this new knowledge, I felt confident enough to start my own company, Frostbite Studios at home in Park City , Utah . This world-class resort town is perfect for creating fine ice for large and small events, parties and promotions. Some of my past projects include a giant ice wall with a logo and lights for the Chrysler Million Dollar Sundance Film Festival and life size athletes, all in “white ice” , for a local business during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Utah . My biggest accomplishment with “clear ice” came when I worked on one of the largest indoor ice sculpture parks ever created in Brugg , Belgium in 2003.
